The 21st MBA CREF/Multifamily Housing Convention and Expo, traditionally held in San Diego, California in the beginning of February, will be virtual in 2021 due to the pandemic. The conference typically attracts over 3,000 commercial and multifamily professionals who network with industry leaders and listen to professionals share their views on the direction of the industry. In addition, the MBA CREF conference will be combined with the Commercial/Multifamily Housing Servicing and Technology Conference.
The event will be held on February 3-4, 2021 via MBA LIVE, an interactive virtual convention experience, so participants can connect whenever they want, from any location. The agenda will include
- general sessions featuring industry leaders, keynote speakers and policymakers offering economic and business insight into driving success in uncertain times;
- a deep dive and real-time advice in breakout sessions focused on servicing challenges, multifamily issues and business and technology trends;
- opportunities to network, exchange ideas or set up one-on-one meetings with other attendees through text and video chat; and
- the latest solutions from leading service and technology providers in the virtual expo hall, THE HUB.
The event will include four keynote speakers, including Ron Darling, a pitcher for the 1986 World Series Champion New York Mets, and Andrew Young, former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, civil rights leader and former Mayor of Atlanta, Georgia.
