ValueXpress recently passed the seven-year milestone teaching CMBS conduit loan origination at Commercial Capital Training Group (CCTG) in Albany, New York. CCTG is a one-of-a-kind training company that provides a one-week, comprehensive commercial training and education program tailored for new and experienced commercial loan and mortgage brokers (visit www.commercialcapitaltraining.com for more information). ValueXpress is responsible for educating brokers on the CMBS conduit loan product.
The class was originally taught by Kevin Monahan beginning in 2012. Sadly, Kevin passed away in 2013 from pancreatic cancer. Mike Sneden, Executive Vice President at ValueXpress, took over the reins from Kevin and taught over 700 students during 2014-2017. Dennis Suh, Senior Vice President at ValueXpress, has been teaching at the school since 2017. He has instructed nearly 500 students in that time.
After graduating from the school, students go into their markets to originate eligible CMBS conduit loans for ValueXpress. “Since CMBS conduit loans can be closed in all 50 states, it is very hard for ValueXpress to effectively market nationwide,” commented Suh. “The CCTG graduates can be our ‘foot soldiers’ in their local markets to find CMBS conduit loans, and as a result, we have closed over $100 million of CMBS conduit loans with CCTG grads.” For information on CCTG, contact Dennis Suh at dsuh@valuexpress.com.
